Running for a Cure: My Journey To The 2025 London Marathon

“This year, my life took an unexpected turn when my beloved uncle was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. A professional bodybuilder, he has always been a pillar of strength and inspiration in my life. Despite his diagnosis, his spirit remains unbroken, and his determination to fight this battle has inspired me to take action.

In honor of my uncle, I have committed to raising funds for The Project Purple, a foundation dedicated to pancreatic cancer research and support. My goal is to raise $7,500 or more to contribute to this vital cause. To achieve this, I will be running in the 2025 London Marathon, a challenge that symbolizes the endurance and resilience needed to combat this disease.

Running has always been a passion of mine, and this marathon represents more than just a race. It is a tribute to my uncle's strength and a message to him and others battling pancreatic cancer that we are in this fight together, as a family.

Every step I take in training and on race day will be driven by the thought of my uncle and the countless others affected by this illness. I am determined to cross that finish line, not just for myself, but for everyone who believes in the possibility of a cure.

I invite you to join me on this journey. Your support, whether through donations or spreading the word, will make a significant difference. Together, we can bring hope and contribute to the fight against pancreatic cancer.

Anything counts, and every donation brings us one step closer to a cure. The link to donate is in the bio.

Thank you for your generosity and belief in this cause. Let's make a difference together.”

BACKSTORY

‘My uncle was a huge part of my life, like  a father figure. He passed away Summer 2024 from stage 4 pancreatic cancer. In his honor, my goal is to compete in all 6 major marathons throughout the world, carrying on his legacy as an inspiration for physical and mental health. During some difficult times in my own life, he was who pulled me out of the dirt and got me back on my feet.”
